Electrical Assembler-- 2nd Shift

Summary:
As an ABEC Electrical Assembler you will apply electrical theory and related knowledge to testing, building, and modifying various types of electrical equipment and components by reading and interpreting drawings.

Responsibilities:
o Fabricate electrical equipment according to drawings.
o Receive components and confirm against drawing and/or list of materials or quality standards.
o Solder/fit/assemble components.
o Fabricate specialty parts.
o Recommend improvements.
o Conduct operations in a safe manner.
o Follow all safety rules and policies.
o Inspect fabrications for quality, safety, and operation as requested.
o Audit equipment against drawings as requested.
o Prepare equipment for shipment.
o Support fabrications for quality, safety and operation as requested.
o Support start-up and equipment repair as requested.
o Trouble short and repair systems as requested.
o Execute other tasks as assigned.
o Domestic and international travel is required.
Requirements:
o High School Diploma or equivalent.
o 2 years post-graduate in Manufacturing.
o 2 years' experience in Electrical Assembly or Industrial Controls.
o Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
/ 23 kilograms.
o Typical work is in a manufacturing environment or customer's site.
o Required to stand for long periods of time and may involve heavy manual labor.
o You will need to be able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, push, pull, and carry items.
o Exposure to loud noises.
o Ability to wear personal protective equipment.
